The Region 10 Comprehensive Center is helping to develop and implement a civics-focused K-12 scope and sequence in Wisconsin.

The Region 10 Comprehensive Center is providing technical assistance to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to increase their capacity to use evidence-based practices, monitoring, and continuous improvement processes to increase effectiveness of CSMH and TSS implementation.

The Region 10 Comprehensive Center has been developing a capacity-building model with school districts to develop logic models for selection and application of evidence-based improvement strategies.

The Region 10 Comprehensive Center is supporting DPI’s new family engagement core workgroup with developing vision and training resources on an agency-wide family engagement model. Support has included logic model creation to help frame the process and manage resource development. The resources will not only inform agency efforts, but also will be adapted for local education agency use. R10CC assistance may continue to extend to youth-engaged structures at DPI, namely the Youth Power advisory council.

This project provides capacity building services to the WI Coalition of Community Schools and participating school districts, including distribution of a WI Community Schools Guide, community of practice support, organizing a regional webinar on how to start and support community schools, and partnership with DPI/WSPEI to present on community schools as a parent-engagement and equity strategy. In addition, R10CC is providing support to help the coalition continue their community of practice and work towards sustainability of partnerships.
